This unique position requires dedicated support for a student requiring nursing care throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication abilities to foster a positive and safe environment for the student. Key Qualifications & Skills: Active, unencumbered RN license in Arizona. Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred. Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking abilities. Compassionate demeanor and commitment to providing individualized care. Excellent time management and punctuality. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, school staff, and transportation personnel. Primary Responsibilities: Arrive at the student's residence in San Tan Valley (zip code 85140) each morning by 7:30 a.m. Accompany the student on the bus to school, ensuring safety and attentive care during transport. Remain with the student throughout the entire school day, providing ongoing nursing support as needed. Ride the school bus with the student home at the end of the school day; typical drop-off around 3:15 p.m., except Wednesdays with early dismissal (drop-off at approximately 1:35 p.m.). Maintain accurate records, documentation, and coordinate care plans with school and family. Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate a positive learning environment for the student.
