Occupational Therapist (Full-Time) Location: La Grange, IL Grade Levels: 1st–6th Grade School Year: August 27, 2026 – June 11, 2027 Schedule: Full-Time | 35 hours/week Setting: In-Person Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually About the Opportunity A LaGrange Elementary School is seeking a dedicated full-time Occupational Therapist to join its student support team for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to support students across 1st–6th grade while collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to help students access and succeed in their educational environment. Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM–3:45 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 35 hours per week

• Provide occupational therapy services for students with IEP and 504 plans.
• Screen and assess fine motor, visual-perceptual, sensory processing, and functional skills.
• Evaluate areas including perceptual-motor skills, hand function, motor coordination, sensory development, and muscle strength.
• Develop recommendations for intervention, assistive devices, and appropriate educational supports.
• Utilize best practices in assistive technology based on individual student needs.
• Review students' programs and goals annually and prepare written summaries and revised goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop classroom strategies and activities that support student needs.
• Maintain parent communication and provide recommendations for supporting student development at home.
• Maintain daily attendance logs, data, progress notes, and service documentation.
• Participate in Student Support Team meetings and other assigned meetings.
• Document services and related time for Medicaid reimbursement.
• Collaborate with outside professionals when appropriate.

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist License through IDFPR required.
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop individualized, evidence-based interventions and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Competitive $60,000–$80,000 salary range
