<p> The Rowan-Virtua Regional Integrated Special Needs (RISN) Center is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to caring for individuals with complex intellectual, developmental, physical, and behavioral health needs. This unique opportunity combines direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, teaching, and research within an innovative academic healthcare environment. </p><p> Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </p><ul><li> Provide compassionate accessible patient care, focused on quality and value-based care while developing models that will add to value-based care for the population. </li><li> Provides longitudinal health relationships which allow patients with complex conditions and their families to thrive in their communities. </li><li> Participates in a collegial relationship with physicians, psychologists, social workers, nurses and other health care professionals and prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment for the patient's psychiatric care. </li><li> Provides consultation to clinical staff regarding patient care. </li><li> Work with and present cases to a multidisciplinary team caring for patients with complex intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities and their families. </li><li> Participate in collaborative research with faculty, residents, and students. </li><li> Teach medical students and residents in their clinical skills development in the office while seeing patients. </li><li> Participates in a rotating on-call schedule and provides timely clinical response and follow-up in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. </li><li> Maintains appropriate client records in a timely manner. </li><li> Other tasks as assigned. </li></ul><p> Qualifications: </p><ul><li> Experience working with patients with intellectual and physical disabilities, complex medical needs, traumatic brain injury, or lifespan care preferred. </li><li> Valid NJ nursing license. </li><li> An advanced nursing degree with a concentration in psychiatric medicine. </li><li> CDS license. </li><li> DEA license. </li></ul><p> Salary: </p><p> In compliance with the State of New Jerseys Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $104,000-$130,000. When extending any salary offer, Rowan University considers many factors such as, but not limited to, scope of responsibilities of the position, work experience, education, training, key skills, internal equity, as well as market and other organizational considerations. </p><p> Benefits : </p><p> For eligible employees, benefits include comprehensive NJ state health, dental and retirement benefits, extensive accrued time off/paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement for employee, spouse, and dependents attending Rowan University, Glassboro.
