ISC analyst - Costing and Plant controlling

Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job:

• Ensure accurate and efficient product costing, execute SAP monthly runs, advise on BOM changes, analyses PPVs, and support decision-making through detailed reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
• Conducting financial analysis and providing forward-looking management information aimed at improvement of the operational and financial effectiveness of the plant.
• Support the Site Controller to perform controlling, month-end closing and reporting activities for the plant.
• Support the functional teams on day-to-day finance questions.
• Play a crucial role in the transition of finance and plant controlling activities across key sub-processes with an ability to work in a complex business environment and liaison with multiple stakeholders.

About The Job (Job Responsibilities):

Plant Controlling

• Support month-end close, cost accruals, site reporting, and variance analysis for production volumes, costs, yields, OWC, and capex.
• Assist the Site Controller with budgeting, latest view, forecasting, and financial planning for costs, capex, and FTEs.
• Monitor plant productivity and analyze process orders to identify cost trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with accounting and shared service teams to ensure accurate financial transactions, GR/IR clearing, fixed asset registration, and functional cost reporting.
• Monitor capex actuals against approved budgets, highlight overruns, and update monthly and annual capex forecasts.
• Support statutory/internal audits, site procedures, and timely closure of audit actions.
• Monitor cycle counts and physical inventory verification in line with applicable guidelines.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and analyses for Business Unit and functional stakeholders. Identify and support additional finance activities within the center as required.

Product Costing

• Execute SAP monthly costing runs at global level and take corrective actions to improve costing accuracy and data quality.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc costing reports and analyses to support business decision-making. Support centralization, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of costing activities to strengthen controls, efficiency, and data quality.

We believe you bring (Education & Experience):

• Cost & Management Accountant / MBA Finance with 3–5 years of relevant experience in controlling, accounting, product costing and plant finance.
• Strong knowledge of controlling, product costing, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and reporting processes.
• Proficiency in SAP, SAP BW, Excel, financial modelling, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate outputs.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
• Experience in Finance Shared Services / GCC operations will be an added advantage.
• Flexible to work in different time zones.
