Director of Accounting

Insight Global is hiring a Director of Accounting for a well-established industrial services organization. This leadership role will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and a team of accounting professionals while serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership.

Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting teamOversee financial reporting and maintain multiple entities in accordance with GAAPManage month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparationPresent monthly financial results, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadershipSupport budgeting, forecasting, asset management, and internal controlsCoordinate external audits and work closely with CPA partnersOversee job costing, bank reconciliations, tax-related activities, and insurance administrationPartner with operations and project management teams to review project financial performanceIdentify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting requiredCPA preferred xzbcwsv 5+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrevious Controller or Accounting Manager experience strongly preferredExperience leading and developing accounting teamsStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with Sage ERP is a plusStrong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
