Overview <br /> Registered Nurse - NICU travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Neonatal ICU care for very high acuity patients (from 22 weeks gestation and greater) in a hospital setting. Start date 08/17/2026 for a 12-week assignment. Weekly pay range is $1,566 to $1,651. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: night shift, 12-hour rotations on a 2x3 schedule. <p></p> Key Highlights <br />- Weekly pay: $1,566$1,651 per week <br />- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week <br />- Contract duration: 12 weeks <br />- Shift: Night shifts, 12-hour increments on a 2x3 schedule <br />- Start date: 08/17/2026<br />- Setting: NICU within a hospital environment <p></p> Responsibilities <br />- Provide direct bedside nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including very high acuity patients. <br />- Monitor respiratory status and support devices, from conventional ventilation to high-frequency ventilation as available, and assist with weaning as appropriate. <br />- Administer medications and therapies via continuous IV drips (vasopressors, sedation) and monitor infusion safety and efficacy. <br />- Perform central line maintenance, infusion management, and strict infection-control practices. <br />- Conduct neonatal resuscitation procedures as part of the care team when needed. <br />- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. <br />- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure continuity of care across shifts. <p></p> Requirements <br />- Willingness to commit to a 12-week travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. <br />- Availability to work night shifts (12-hour) on a 2x3 schedule. <br />- Experience in or demonstrated ability to care for very high acuity neonatal patients in a NICU setting. <br />- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes neonatal environment with complex clinical needs. <br />- Willingness to participate in credentialing, onboarding, and unit orientation as part of assignment. <br />- Ability to adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and interdisciplinary care standards. <p></p> Benefits and Support <br />- 36 guaranteed hours per week <br />- Weekly pay within the stated range <br />- Credentialing and onboarding assistance <br />- Dedicated assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC <p></p> Find more opportunities <br /> If youd like to explore other NICU or travel RN assignments, you can view additional openings and apply at <p></p> Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
