About the Role:
Zyeta is looking for an experienced Senior Architect – Workplace Designer to lead workplace design solutions from concept development through design delivery and site execution. The role will work closely with clients, architects, interior designers, consultants and project teams to create functional, innovative and execution-ready workplace environments.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in corporate workplace design, space planning, design development, client presentations and design coordination , with the ability to take ownership of projects from brief to handover.
What We Are Looking For:
Client Engagement & Design Strategy
- Understand client briefs, business requirements, workplace objectives and design expectations.
- Develop strong client relationships and participate in design presentations and reviews.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to understand existing conditions and project constraints.
Concept & Workplace Design
- Develop workplace concepts, space plans, design narratives, mood boards and material palettes.
- Create functional and innovative workplace environments aligned with client requirements and brand identity.
- Optimise space utilisation considering workflow, ergonomics, employee experience and corporate culture.
- Develop design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, cost and constructability.
Design Development & Documentation
- Develop detailed design drawings, layouts, specifications and construction documentation.
- Coordinate architectural and interior design requirements with MEP, structural and other consultants.
- Review design details, materials, finishes, furniture and specifications.
- Ensure design documentation is accurate, coordinated and execution-ready.
Design & Site Coordination
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, consultants and site teams throughout project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure design intent is maintained during construction.
- Identify design and execution challenges and drive timely resolution.
- Review shop drawings, material samples and technical submissions where required.
- Support snagging, quality reviews and final handover.
Team & Project Leadership
- Lead and mentor junior designers and architects on assigned projects.
- Manage design deliverables, timelines and priorities across multiple projects.
- Drive design quality, consistency and continuous improvement.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines and quality standards.
What We Are Looking For:
- 6–8 years of experience in workplace design, commercial interiors, architecture or design & build.
- Strong experience in corporate workplace / commercial interior projects .
- Proven experience handling projects from concept through design development and execution.
- Strong understanding of space planning, workplace design and interior architecture.
- Experience in client presentations, design reviews and stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and design detailing.
- Experience coordinating with MEP, structural, consultants, contractors and project teams.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating completed workplace / commercial interior projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related discipline.
