View More Jobs Clinical Systems Analyst Radiation Oncology - Main Healthcare Tech Mgmt - Full Time - Days OH, United States and 1 more Job Description This position is responsible for managing Varian applications and other Radiation & Physics supported software/hardware systems across all TCHHN locations, Monitoring performances related to said systems, primary contact for national help desk communications and problem solving. Primary IT support related to all vendor software and hardware project/upgrades/testing coordinated during or after hours. Providing excellent customer support and service to the departments, radiation oncologists and all related staff. Position will also assist in supporting CVIS HTM clinical engineering IT positions to provide backup and participate in the department's overall support of medical systems. CVIS and CE-IT backup Oncology Systems. Responsibilities Support Oncology Information systems, e.g. Aria, Eclipse, TrueBeam, Sun Nuclear, and others to assure application, programs, (Aria, Eclipse, Sun Nuclear, etc.) and associated hardware are fully functional (not inclusive). Monitor in real-time the performance of the Varian IS for Eclipse, Aria, Aria DB, Aria Core Insights and supportive software environments that impact workflows and Linac uptime. Work with users and vendors to address issues, or system problems to resolve as quickly as possible. Liaison for service line areas and HTM. Runs reports, updates tables, and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software/hardware environment. Maintaining system dictionaries, user accounts and access rights for Aria DB & Aria Core Insights or other related systems. Maintaining interfaces between Radiation Oncology specific applications and other systems. Work closely with Clinical staff and vendors to provide enhancements and upgrades to software and hardware. Advises HTM managers on technical requirements, budget, upgrades and future needs. Documents all build activities in conjunction with updating vendor provided applications specifications. Assists users in developing test scripts, policies, and procedures. Performs integration and unit testing. Plans and/or assists in presentations/training to users of application functions. Provides consultation to participants on projects. Backup support in other CE-IT or CVIS areas, e.g. EP, Merge, Epiphany etc. Complimentary function for CVIS or CE-IT to back-up Oncology IS. Supports applications on and off normal scheduled shifts (troubleshooting, updates, fixes and project support). On-call problem support during HTM schedule and prepared to for 24 hour/7 day a week environment as needed. On-call includes other than Oncology IS. Document all work, issues/resolution information, updates/upgrades inventory, PM and SE information as required by CMMS and The Joint Commission. Other duties as required Qualifications EDUCATION: Associates degree in Clinical Field or Information Technology or equivalent experience required. Bachelors degree in Clinical Experience or Information Technology Preferred EXPERIENCE: Three to five years experience in either clinical environment with extensive exposure to advanced clinical systems or three to five years Information Technology in an healthcare environments. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Requires engineering, bio-medical, and Information Technology experience, strong clinical workflow knowledge. Requires the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex hardware and software systems must have advanced knowledge of test equipment, software tools, and network systems. Advanced troubleshooting or diagnostic skills are also required. Requires knowledge of Hospital Organizational makeup, 3-5 years relevant healthcare information systems experience required Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and experience managing multiple projects, Team oriented and customer service driven, Candidate will be highly motivated, having a strong sense of urgency, high detail oriented and adept at multi-tasking, Candidate will also be a team player with strong organizational skills, have a professional appearance and positive attitude, Candidate must possess and demonstrate customer relation skills and technical abilities.
