We are looking for a Software & Website Content Writer who can create clear, engaging, and user-friendly content for software products, websites, and digital platforms. The ideal candidate should be able to understand technical concepts and convert them into simple, easy-to-understand content for customers and users.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain content for company websites, software products, landing pages, and product pages.
• Create software product documentation, help center articles, user guides, FAQs, and feature descriptions.
• Develop website copy that is clear, engaging, and aligned with the company's brand and target audience.
• Work closely with Product, Software Development, Design, and Marketing teams to understand products and features.
• Convert technical information into simple and user-friendly language.
• Write content for software features, product releases, announcements, and marketing campaigns.
• Research relevant topics, competitors, industries, and target audiences to develop useful content.
• Review, edit, and proofread existing content for grammar, clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Maintain consistency in tone, terminology, and messaging across different digital platforms.
• Support SEO content requirements, including keyword research, page titles, headings, meta descriptions, and optimized website content.
• Use AI writing and research tools effectively while ensuring the final content is accurate, original, and human-readable.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure content works effectively with website and UI layouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent grammar, vocabulary, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Ability to understand software products and explain technical concepts in simple language.
• Strong research and information-gathering skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital content writing.
• Familiarity with software/SaaS products, websites, or technology-related content is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Knowledge of German language will be preferred.
• Previous experience writing content for SaaS, software, websites, mobile applications, or technology companies..
• Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT and other AI-assisted writing/research tools.
• Basic understanding of UX writing and product communication.
