Electrical Technician

As a Technician III you will calibrate, set-up and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement and test equipment. Measures and records data for assigned projects. Interprets data and prepares recommendations. Writes reports and communicates results.

You will do this byPerforms a variety of non-routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipmentFabricates prototype components and/or assemblies for product testingDocuments all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions and recommendationsCompiles and computes a variety of engineering data; analyzes test and design data and prepare reportsAnalyzes problems and recommends solutions; expedites prototype parts or assembliesDevelops, prepares and makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specificationsPerforms other duties as assigne
dQualificationsAssociates in a Technical field or equivalent experienceFive years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related productsAbility to set-up, calibrate and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement devices and test equipmentUnderstanding of a specialized technical areaDemonstrated ability to learn complex engineering softwareStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interpret data and create technical documentsFluent in primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location and able to read EnglishFluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or locati
