Position Description Advertised Job Summary:
HVAC Tech ( HVAC / EMS Technician I), Salary: $44,296 $54,263 per year, USCA Housing The HVAC Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all mechanical & HVAC equipment at the USC Aiken Housing residences. Performs general maintenance as required to include, but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of and ability to use tools, equipment and materials used in general building maintenance and construction. Knowledge of and ability to use techniques, methods and practices in trades field. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, various wiring diagrams and schematics. Position will be placed on a rotational on-call (after hours) work. Minimum requirements: Job related accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
