Join the kitchen team behind some of Bavarian Inn Restaurant's most popular dishes!Our Fry Cooks work in a busy, high-energy kitchen to prepare hot, consistent, high-quality food for our guests. We're looking for someone who can stay focused under pressure, communicate with the team, and work with a sense of urgency to keep orders moving. Commercial fryer experience is preferred, but we'll also consider someone with restaurant kitchen experience who can quickly learn the station.Responsibilities:Prepare fried menu items according to established recipes, cooking times, and quality standardsSafely operate commercial fryers and monitor cooking temperaturesCoordinate multiple orders while maintaining proper timing and food qualityKeep your station clean, stocked, and organizedFollow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standardsQualifications:Commercial fryer or professional cooking experience preferredBasic knowledge of fryer operation, safety, temperatures, and timing—or the ability to learn quicklyAble to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced kitchenReliable, safety-conscious, and ready to work as part of a teamWilling to learn our menu, recipes, and kitchen proceduresRequirements:Must be at least 18 years of age3+ months of restaurant or commercial kitchen experience; fryer experience preferredAvailable to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysAble to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and remain standing or walking throughout the shiftComfortable working around heat, hot oil, and commercial cooking equipmentUniform: Black pants, black slip-resistant shoes, and a white collared shirt or chef coatBenefits:Enjoy free meals during scheduled shifts, time-and-a-half holiday premium pay, free Bavarian Blast Waterpark admission, discounts across our Bavarian Inn properties, flexible scheduling, paid onboarding, up to $10,000 in tuition reimbursement, up to $1,000 in referral incentives, and many other great team member perks!
