Junior Project Manager (Job Location: Trivandrum)

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to drive day-to-day delivery execution across client engagements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on project management, team coordination, and direct customer interaction, and who wants to grow into broader delivery leadership.

Primary Skills :

• 10+ years of experience in project delivery/project coordination, ideally in IT services or consulting
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
• Comfortable leading small teams and working directly with clients
• Experience coordinating with staffing/resourcing functions to fulfill project needs
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet) is a plus
• PMP/CAPM/PRINCE2 certification is a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities include:

Delivery Management

• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and scope are met
• Track project plans, milestones, and deliverables; proactively flag and resolve risks/blockers
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs (technical, functional, QA) to keep delivery on track
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, and governance trackers

Team Handling

• Manage a small-to-mid sized project team, allocating tasks and monitoring progress
• Support team members with day-to-day guidance, unblocking issues, and performance follow-ups
• Foster a collaborative team environment and help onboard new joiners to the project

Customer Management

• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for client stakeholders on assigned engagements
• Run regular status calls, prepare and present progress updates
• Manage client expectations, gather feedback, and ensure high satisfaction levels
• Escalate and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner

Resource/Sourcing Requirement Management

• Identify project resourcing needs and coordinate with internal talent/sourcing teams to fulfill open requirements
• Track resource requirements against project plans and timelines
• Coordinate interviews/evaluations for role fulfillment where needed
• Maintain visibility on bench, backfill needs, and ramp-up/ramp-down plans
