We Are Hiring: Dean – MCA

Location: Greater Noida

Accurate Institute of Management and Technology, An Autonomous Institute with NAAC accreditation and AI Enabled, invites applications for the position of Dean – Master of Computer Applications (MCA) . We are seeking an accomplished academic leader with strong administrative capabilities, sound technical knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence.

Essential Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or a relevant discipline is mandatory
• Master’s degree in MCA, Computer Science, IT or a related field
• Qualifications and experience must be in accordance with applicable UGC/AICTE norms
• Minimum 10 years of teaching, research and academic administration experience
• Prior experience as Dean, Director, Head of Department or in a similar academic leadership position will be preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and administrative leadership to the MCA Department
• Develop and implement an industry-oriented, AI-enabled curriculum
• Ensure effective academic planning, timetable management and smooth conduct of examinations
• Monitor teaching quality, student performance, attendance and faculty productivity
• Lead faculty recruitment, development, mentoring and performance evaluation
• Promote research, publications, patents, funded projects and industry collaborations
• Establish strong linkages with IT companies for internships, live projects, certifications and placements
• Encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, coding culture and participation in hackathons
• Ensure compliance with university, UGC, AICTE and institutional guidelines
• Support admission initiatives and contribute to the overall growth of the MCA programme
• Work closely with the Training and Placement Department to improve student employability and placement outcomes

Preferred Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership, communication and team-management skills, along with a strong understanding of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing and Full-Stack Development.
