Muscle & Joint Physical Therapy is a family-owned physical therapy practice focused on the diagnosis & treatment of orthopedic, spine, and sports-related conditions. We are a unique practice that utilizes diagnostic testing, including musculoskeletal ultrasound and electromyography, to provide an accurate diagnosis allowing for precise treatment and a faster recovery. We specialize in conditions of the head, face, jaw, neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee, and foot & ankle. Simply put, we alleviate muscle and joint pain to improve function

What You’ll Do:

• Treat a diverse orthopedic and active population
• Discusses evaluation, goals, and treatment with patient and family and instructs them on the exercise program and in use of equipment.
• Documents patient evaluation and progress, maintaining records for physicians and insurance carriers.
• Use advanced assessment and treatment tools
• Build long-term patient relationships based on trust and results
• Participates in patient discharge planning including developing an in-home program when appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with other PTs and leadership
• Help shape the future direction of a progressive private practice

A Rare Opportunity: Learn Diagnostic MSK Ultrasound & EMG/NCV testing. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Learn musculoskeletal ultrasound to visualize tissue, educate patients, and guide clinical decision-making to improve outcomes
• Learn EMG/NCV testing to better understand neuromuscular involvement and root causes
• Make faster, more confident diagnoses leading to better patient management
• Elevate your clinical skill set well beyond standard outpatient PT, while advancing the profession

We provide mentorship and training. What matters most is curiosity and a desire to practice at a higher level. No prior ultrasound or EMG experience required.

Who You Are:

• A licensed Physical Therapist (or license-eligible)
• 2+ years experience in outpatient orthopedics
• Someone who values critical thinking over cookie-cutter protocols
• Interested in adding diagnostics to your skill set
• Comfortable working autonomously managing your own schedule and caseload.
• Excited to collaborate with a growing team
• Has a curious and growth mindset
