RN First Assistant

UF Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking an RN First Assistant to provide expert perioperative nursing care and surgical first-assist services. In collaboration with surgeons, you will assist with pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, including patient assessment, instrumentation, tissue handling, hemostasis, wound closure, and patient/family education. You will uphold safety and infection-control standards, participate in care planning, documentation, and quality improvement, and support our academic mission by mentoring staff and learners.
