Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Pulaski, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in industrial controls, product development, and electrical system design? We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and drive innovation across a portfolio of engineered industrial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering efforts for new and existing product lines.
• Design, develop, and optimize electrical and controls systems to ensure safety, reliability, manufacturability, and performance.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for electrical engineering, providing guidance to cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Service, and Project Management.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and custom-engineered solutions.
• Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations, including UL, NEC, NFPA, and CSA.
• Research emerging technologies and implement innovative solutions to enhance products and processes.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and design libraries.
• Evaluate and specify electrical components for custom customer orders and engineered projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, controls engineering, or industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical design principles.
• Experience with industrial control systems, electrical schematics, and panel design.
• Working knowledge of UL, NEC, NFPA, CSA, and other applicable standards.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and product development initiatives.
