Job Description
The Welfare Officer is responsible for ensuring employee well-being, statutory welfare compliance, and harmonious industrial relations within the copper manufacturing plant. The role acts as a bridge between management and workforce, driving welfare initiatives, grievance redressal, and statutory adherence in line with labour laws and Adani Group standards.
Key Responsibility
Develop and execute welfare Process and programs to promote employee well-being and satisfaction Conduct regular assessments of employee needs and welfare concerns Ensuring the proper distribution of the uniform and welfare items Ensuring various sports activities and other recreation activities from time to time Ensuring the welfare benefits of the various govt scheme are extended to the beneficiaries. Coordinating for the annual medical check up and other activities of the employee wellbeing Oversee and manage the employee assistance programs, including counseling and support services Collaborate with external agencies and healthcare providers to organize health camps and awareness programs Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations related to employee welfare Handle and resolve employee grievances and conflicts in a fair and sensitive manner Work closely with the HR department to create a safe and inclusive work environment Coordinate with local community organizations for social welfare initiatives Prepare reports and documentation related to welfare activities and initiativesExperience and Qualification
Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent degree in a related field from the prescribed institute as per Gujarat factories rule 1963· 5+ years of experience in welfare management, preferably in the manufacturing industry Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing employee welfare programs Proven track record of handling employee grievance mechanisms Thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations pertaining to welfare and social security Proficiency in developing and implementing welfare policies and programs Experience in managing employee assistance and support services Knowledge of healthcare and occupational safety practicesDetails
