Senior Brand & Intellectual Property Counsel (Contract)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Brand & Intellectual Property Counsel to join its legal team on a contract basis. Responsibilities include: • Advising on trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and global portfolio management• Providing counsel on copyright, content, licensing, and digital rights issues• Drafting and negotiating marketing, agency, licensing, and other commercial agreements• Managing infringement claims and brand protection initiatives• Supporting strategic transactions, M&A, venture investments, and global brand initiatives• Advising on emerging legal issues involving AI, generative AI content, and new technologies• Partnering closely with legal, marketing, product, compliance, and executive leadership teamsQualifications: • J.D. and active bar membership in good standing• Significant experience in trademark, copyright, licensing, and brand protection matters• Prior in-house experience with a major corporation, consumer brand, technology company, or financial institution preferred• Demonstrated ability to xzbcwsv independently manage complex legal matters and provide practical, business-oriented advice• Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills• Experience advising on digital content, technology, and AI-related issues is highly desirableThis role is ideal for a senior attorney who enjoys acting as a strategic business partner, navigating complex IP matters, and supporting innovative global initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
