Competitive Salary Exceptional Health Benefits PTO About Our Client Our client is a respected South Florida general contractor specializing in commercial construction projects across Fort Lauderdale in hospitality, retail, dining, entertainment, and general commercial developments. The company has established a reputation for quality workmanship, strong client relationships, and successful project delivery, resulting in a healthy pipeline of repeat and negotiated business for project mangers. Job Description Manage commercial construction projects from pre construction through closeout. The project manager must develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts. Lead subcontractor buyout, procurement, and contract administration efforts. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and field teams. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Monitor project financial performance and maintain profitability goals. Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution. Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact schedule or budget. Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and clients. Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business opportunities. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor across the Fort Lauderdale market. Experience managing ground-up and renovation commercial projects. Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract management. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The project manager must have experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software.
