Position Summary
Ascendant Claims Services is seeking an experienced Bodily Injury Litigation Claims Adjuster to join our Liability Claims team. This is an excellent opportunity for a claims professional who enjoys analyzing complex liability exposures, managing litigated claims, collaborating with defense counsel, and negotiating successful claim resolutions.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities§ Manage a caseload of litigated bodily injury claims from assignment through final resolution.§ Conduct thorough investigations to evaluate liability, damages, and claim exposure.§ Review and analyze medical records, accident reports, legal documents, and other claim-related materials.§ Work closely with defense counsel to develop litigation and settlement strategies.§ Establish and maintain appropriate claim reserves.§ Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties.§ Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, depositions, and trials when necessary.§ Monitor litigation expenses and ensure effective claim cost management.§ Maintain timely and accurate claim file documentation.§ Deliver exceptional customer service to insureds, claimants, attorneys, and business partners.§ Ensure compliance with company guidelines and applicable state regulations.Qualifications§ Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License required.§ 4+ years of Florida liability claims handling experience.§ Prior experience managing litigated bodily injury claims.§ Strong understanding of liability investigations, injury evaluation, and claim resolution practices.§ Working knowledge of medical terminology and bodily injury exposures.§ Proven negotiation and settlement skills.§ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.§ Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.§ Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines.§ Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications.Why Join Ascendant? xzbcwsv § Competitive compensation package§ Comprehensive benefits program§ Supportive and collaborative team environment§ Career growth and advancement opportunities§ Stable, growing organization with a strong reputation in the industry§ Opportunity to handle challenging and impactful claims
