Backed by $200M in funding, we're working on top-notch, cutting-edge technology to solve problems at genuine IoT, fintech, and mobility scale - real-time data pipelines, connected hardware, and platforms that run physical infrastructure, not just dashboards. We build systems designed to scale to billions of events a day and over 1 million transactions a day, and engineered for 99.999% uptime. We're looking for exceptional engineers and leaders to join us in Pune or Bangalore to help build this platform. This isn't a "big company problems, big company headcount" environment - you'll own systems end-to-end, with a bar for technical rigor set by experience at top product tech companies, but a working style built for a company still being built. Position Summary Lead end-to-end supply chain planning for overseas direct materials and CKD kits, ensuring seamless supplier onboarding, production ramp-up, order planning, material availability and cross-functional execution. The role requires strong experience in supply planning, supplier coordination, ERP systems, advanced Excel-based data management, and analytical reporting. Key Responsibilities Own supply chain planning for overseas direct materials, CKD kits and critical components. Drive supplier onboarding, qualification and readiness in collaboration with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing. Lead supplier production ramp-up and capacity planning to support new product introductions and volume scale-up. Manage demand planning, supply planning, purchase order planning and order execution to ensure uninterrupted production. Monitor supplier schedules, shipment readiness and material flow to ensure on-time availability. Coordinate closely with Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance and Quality teams. Track purchase orders, inventory, open orders and supply risks; proactively resolve shortages and delays. Manage import coordination, shipment tracking and documentation with logistics partners. Maintain accurate ERP master data and supplier records. Develop MIS dashboards and reports using advanced Excel, including data consolidation, pivot tables, lookups and large dataset analysis. Present supply chain performance updates to leadership using PowerPoint. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations. • MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) preferred. Experience Minimum 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Supply Planning or Procurement Operations. Strong experience in supplier onboarding, supplier ramp-up and production readiness. Experience managing order planning, purchase order management, material planning and supply execution. Experience working with international suppliers, preferably across China, Southeast Asia or similar manufacturing hubs. Experience in automotive, EV, industrial manufacturing or high-volume assembly operations. Technical Skills Supply chain planning and material planning Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) exposure Supplier onboarding and supplier performance management Order planning and purchase order management Inventory planning and replenishment Import coordination and shipment tracking ERP systems (SAP/Dynamics or equivalent) Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, dashboards, large data management) PowerPoint and Microsoft Word Key Competencies Analytical and data-driven decision making Strong planning and execution capability Cross-functional collaboration Attention to detail Problem solving Ownership and accountability Excellent communication skills KPIs Material availability Supplier On-Time Delivery Order fulfilment adherence Planning accuracy Inventory optimization Open PO ageing MIS accuracy and timeliness Supplier ramp-up readiness Why Spiro Real infrastructure, real stakes: your systems run physical battery swap stations and vehicle fleets, not just dashboards. We're looking for exceptional engineers and leaders - the technical bar of a top product tech company, without the bureaucracy - you'll make decisions and see them shipped in weeks, not quarters. A genuinely hard, genuinely interesting problem space: distributed IoT, real-time data at scale, multi-market operations, and emerging-market infrastructure constraints all at once, built on top-notch, modern technology. Our Footprint: Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Morocco, Benin, Togo, Cameroon. Spiro is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate all candidates based on merit, without regard to race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other protected status.
