Sr Technical Project/Program Manager

Description Remote Our client seeks a Sr Technical Project/Program Manager to lead high-complexity initiatives within a state health plan environment. The role will coordinate technical and business delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams, drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment, and ensure timely, quality outcomes. The engagement will support healthcare payer-related initiatives such as claims, enrollment, benefits administration, or related systems, with significant executive exposure and governance reporting. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities Lead and coordinate multiple high-complexity projects and programs, including concurrent workstreams. Serve as the technical coordination point across business and technology partners. Own integrated program plans, interdependencies, and risk management across workstreams. Ensure deliverables are produced, reviewed, and approved against agreed schedules. Manage resources from multiple delivery partners within approved hours and scope. Establish and run governance forums, steering committees, and executive reporting. Mentor team members and foster a high-performing culture in a matrixed environment. Experience Requirements 5+ years of project/program management experience. Principal-level consideration for 10+ years. Healthcare payer domain experience such as health plan, insurance, TPA, PBM, claims, enrollment, or benefits administration. Proven leadership and stakeholder management with cross-functional teams. History of leading large-scale, complex programs with multiple concurrent workstreams. Demonstrated ownership of program integration and dependency management. Experience delivering high-visibility initiatives with executive stakeholders. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree. In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of related experience.
