Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to onboard a Chief of Staff / Founder’s Office professional to work closely with the Managing Director and the broader leadership team.

This role is designed for a high-caliber individual with a background in management consulting, strategy, corporate planning, or business operations , who thrives in high-growth environments and is eager to contribute at the intersection of leadership support, business strategy, and execution excellence.

The Founder’s Office will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Managing Director, playing a pivotal role in executing high-priority initiatives, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.

The role requires a blend of project management, strategic planning, research, business analysis, stakeholder management, and executive decision support .


Strategic & Operational Support

  • Work closely with the MD to define and execute key strategic initiatives across different business functions including operations, marketing, business development, finance, and others.
  • Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations through in-depth research and market analysis.
  • Act as an execution partner for the MD, ensuring priorities are actioned and aligned with the organization's long-term vision.
  • Lead special projects spanning business transformation, digital initiatives, and process optimization.

Project & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Oversee and drive alignment across operations, marketing, partnerships, and client management teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and improve interdepartmental efficiency.
  • Monitor project timelines, track key deliverables, and ensure accountability across teams.
  • Support new business opportunities and expansion plans through feasibility studies and stakeholder coordination.

Research, Analysis & Decision Support

  • Gather intelligence on industry trends, competitor benchmarking, and market opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and business proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leverage financial and operational data to provide recommendations for improving business performance.
  • Ensure the MD is well-prepared for meetings by synthesizing relevant information and formulating key talking points.

Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a liaison between the MD and senior leadership, ensuring smooth communication and execution of strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate leadership discussions, board meetings, and investor presentations through structured reporting and insights.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives, industry events, keynote speeches, and media engagements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experienced professional with a strong foundation in strategy, corporate planning, management consulting, or business operations .
  • 2–4 years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or AT Kearney is preferred.
  • Prior experience in management consulting or corporate strategy is highly preferred.
  • MBA from a Tier-1 B-school in India such as IIMs, ISB, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives, manage complex projects, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills.
  • Ability to operate with high discretion, agility, and ownership in a fast-paced environment.
