Job Description

We are seeking experienced, qualified, and passionate academicians for the position of Professor / Associate Professor in Fin Tech (Applying AI and Data Science for BFSI). The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring students, guiding academic and research activities, and contributing to curriculum enhancement and departmental development.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, laboratory activities, and hands-on learning in Fin Tech and related areas. Mentor students under NEP 2020 mentorship framework; guide students opted for AEDP and own the job roles for mentoring. Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, presentations, research, and industry-oriented activities. Incorporate contemporary BFSI practices, real-world financial technology applications, case studies, tools, and experiential learning into teaching. Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and quality improvement initiatives. Contribute to research, publications, seminars, workshops, FDPs, and other academic activities. Develop industry linkages and facilitate industry interactions, live projects, internships, guest lectures, and Fin Tech-related activities. Contribute to department development and institutional academic activities.

Qualifications

For Professor Ph D and Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering /Management/ Computer Applications / Information Technology with 5+ years experience in BFSI. Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor. at least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals. For Associate Professor Ph D and Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering /Management/ Computer Applications / Information Technology with 3+ years experience in BFSI. Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of which at least 2 years shall be post Ph. D experience. at least 6 research publications in SCI journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals. Strong academic and professional foundation in Fin Tech and related areas. Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring, and classroom engagement skills.
