Joing our Cardiovascular Surgical ICU which will be a newly renovated 29 bed unit located in the new critical care tower at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The CVSU (Cardiovascular Surgical Unit) specializes in providing concentrated care and management for patients with severe cardiac, vascular, and thoracic disorders. We focus on invasive hemodynamic monitoring, cardiovascular surgery implementation of mechanical support. CVSU provides post anesthesia care to cardiovascular patients who have received general anesthesia. The CVSU serves critically ill patients 18 years or older. Patients admitted to this unit may be receiving treatment for a variety of cardiac related but not limited to Cardiogenic Shock Aortic Dissection Mechanic
