Do you want to be part of a team that strives to create experiences that celebrate our seniors?Clearwater at The Heights is a premier luxury senior living community in Houston and is looking for a Bartender to join the team!Clearwater Living associates enjoy great benefits:Excellent benefits401(k) contributionsPaid Vacation and Sick leaveExciting opportunities to growDynamic and fast paced environmentCulture of people first and service alwaysThe Bartender is responsible for making the residents’ dining experience pleasant and positive, providing the highest quality of customer service, while maintaining the bar and dining areas, and serving beverages and meals.ResponsibilitiesProvide hospitality beverage service to residents, family members and guests while maintaining and exceeding hospitality and service standardsAssist residents with beverage selections and respond to pertinent questions about beverage itemsPractice safe, sanitary food and beverage handling and service in accordance with liquor license rules and regulationsPrepare the set-up the bar and lounge for serviceUtilization of point of sale (POS) for food, beverage and alcohol orders & salesMaintain communications with Supervisor regarding inventory of products and servicesAssist managers with set up and break down of special functionsUtilize proper food and beverage handling and food and beverage service techniquesMaintain knowledge of all specials and general description of all food and beverage items and explain to residents or guestsMaintain all side stations and dining areas using the “clean as you go” policyFollow daily and weekly cleaning schedulesRepresent the Clearwater Core Values on a daily basisLook for ways to reduce costs and create efficiencies on a daily basisComply with Clearwater standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient community operationsPerform other duties and tasks as assigned or requiredQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDWork experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferredCurrent First Aid certificateServe safe certificate preferredMust comply with minimum age requirement per state regulations to serve alcoholBackground clearances as required by government regulationsMust meet health requirements, including TBHold/Obtain Serve Safe TIPS certification and/or other state/local responsible alcohol service certifications.Clearwater Living is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
