QLM Search is partnering a specialist ingredients group (Global) that is looking to appoint a Divisional Sales Director for a specialist business unit (Beverage/Alcohol). Reporting to the Business Unit MD and forming part of the commercial leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering their 3-5 year commercial strategy in this specialist Beverage Ingredient portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and execute effective spirits Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business.-Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.-Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction.-Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.-Collaborate with the marketing team to develop (based in the US and internationally) effective marketing campaigns and product launches.
Candidates MUST have proven experience as a Sales Director/Senior Sales specifically in the BEVERAGE sector (Alcohol) only and preferably will have a technical knowledge of the category. Given this is a newly created position this beverage category knowledge is vital. xzbcwsv As an individual contributor this position will expect high growth, leading to the hiring of additional Sales resources in the USA. You will need a 60/40 split of developing and generating new business and existing key account management.
