Hiring: Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) | Tanzania Location: Tanzania - East Africa Position: Deputy Chief Executive Officer Department: Executive Office / Investments Reports To: Chief Executive Officer We are looking for an accomplished Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) to join Our Pension Fund Company in Tanzania . This is a senior leadership opportunity for a strategic investment professional with strong experience across investment management, asset management, capital markets and portfolio management . Key Responsibilities Deputize for the CEO on strategic, operational and governance matters. Lead investment strategy, asset allocation and portfolio construction across equities, fixed income, money markets and alternative assets. Drive investment performance across managed funds and pension assets. Provide leadership across fund/asset management, brokerage, capital markets, investment advisory and pension services . Oversee capital markets transactions including bonds, Sukuk, equities and private placements . Strengthen relationships with corporates, banks, pension funds, insurers, regulators and government institutions. Represent the organisation at Board, regulatory and industry forums. Drive organisational performance, strategy, budgeting and business growth. Lead and mentor senior management teams. Ideal Candidate Degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management, Business or a related field. Master's degree and/or CFA/CAIA is strongly preferred. 8 years of progressive experience in investment management, asset management, capital markets or investment banking. Minimum 2 years in senior executive leadership . Strong track record in investment strategy, portfolio management and capital market transactions . Strong understanding of East African capital markets and pension fund regulatory frameworks . Experience at CEO/Deputy CEO/Executive Committee level or in a senior executive deputizing capacity is preferred. Strong strategic leadership, governance, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
