• Develop individualized care plans based on patients’ diagnoses, medical history, and treatment goals.
• Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide patient education regarding medication management, potential side effects, and adherence to treatment regimens.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers regarding patients’ progress, changes in condition, and treatment plans.
• Serve as a resource to colleagues on infectious disease-related issues and best practices.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families coping with the challenges of infectious diseases.
• Foster a therapeutic and compassionate environment that promotes trust, dignity, and respect for all individuals.
• Facilitate referrals to support services, community resources, and infectious disease specialists as needed.
  

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in acute care or infectious disease nursing.
• Strong experience administering IVs.
• Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
