Position : SECRET CLEARED Network Security Engineer

Location: Montgomery, AL

Length: 9 month contract to hire

Rate: $50-$60/hr

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer / Network Services Engineer to support and maintain critical enterprise network infrastructure in a secure, mission-driven environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of network services while supporting modernization efforts, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing scalable networking solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

-Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-connected environments.

-Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network services.

-Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.

-Manage core network services including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and remote access solutions. -Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support projects, incident response, and network improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

-Experience supporting cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

-CCNA, CCNP, Security+, or other relevant networking certifications.

-Active Secret Clearance
