Position: Assistant Professor – Computer Science & Engineering

Location: Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, Karnataka (Harohalli Campus)

Experience: 3-5 Years with Mandatory PHD in CSE or related field.

Qualifications:

• PhD in CSE or closely related discipline (e.g., Cybersecurity, AI/ML, Data Science) – mandatory
• Proven research output: ≥ 4 papers in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
• Strong academic record at UG and PG levels (First Class preferred).

Desired Profile:

• Passionate about teaching and mentoring undergraduates/postgraduates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Represents a strong potential for growing research, with a publication track record.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Teach core and elective CSE courses at UG & PG levels (e.g., Data Structures, Algorithms, ML, Cybersecurity).
• Develop course materials: syllabus, lesson plans, labs, assessments.
• Mentor students on projects, provide guidance for internships and placements.
• Lead or participate in research: publish papers, secure funding, guide PhD/MS scholars.
• Support curriculum development aligned with AICTE and UGC standards.
• Serve on university committees (admissions, exams, student welfare, etc.).
• Engage in consultancy, workshops, and conferences; collaborate with industry; supervise student activities.
