Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Management / Logistics Specialist to support customer order processing, shipment tracking, and cross-functional communication in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment. This role is responsible for managing customer orders from entry through invoicing, ensuring accurate SAP system updates, and providing excellent customer service throughout the order lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:Receive, review, and manage customer orders accurately and efficientlyEnter and maintain customer orders in SAP and related ERP systemsMonitor orders through fulfillment, shipment, and invoicingCommunicate with customers daily regarding order status, shipment updates, and delivery detailsProvide timely follow-up on order changes, delays, inventory concerns, and customer requestsPartner closely with Sales, Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and deliveryManage customer expectations and resolve order-related issues in a professional and timely mannerCoordinate with transportation providers and third-party logistics partners (3PLs) to support on-time deliveryTrack and communicate potential service disruptions and work proactively to resolve themMaintain accurate records and ensure high attention to detail across all order management activities
Required Skills / Software Experience:SAP experience requiredERP system experience requiredProficiency with Microsoft ExcelStrong order entry, order tracking, and customer communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentQualifications:3+ years of experience in logistics, order management, customer service, transportation coordination, or supply chainExperience in a manufacturing or distribution environment xzbcwsv preferredCustomer-facing experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively across multiple departmentsPreferred Background:Experience supporting end-to-end order fulfillment processesFamiliarity with shipping coordination, invoicing follow-up, and inventory-related issue resolutionAbility to work effectively with internal teams and external logistics partners
