Lead Software Engineer

EDUCATION PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Aerospace Engineering or related field EXPERIENCE: Experience in the development and implementation of finite element analysis (FEA) software, user subroutines for commercial FEA packages, and numerical material models is highly desirable. Proficiency in Fortran, C/C++, Python, and scripting languages is preferred. Experience with MSC Nastran, Marc, or other commercial finite element analysis software is preferred. Experience in the research and development of nonlinear solid mechanics analysis, including geometric nonlinearity, contact mechanics, and nonlinear material behavior, is preferred.
