Textile Sector Expert & Team Lead
KPMG in India is seeking a seasoned Textile Sector Expert & Team Lead to support and lead strategic advisory engagements within the Government & Public Services (G&PS) practice. The role will involve working closely with government departments, industry stakeholders, and ecosystem partners to drive initiatives aimed at strengthening the textile and apparel sector.
Key Qualifications:
- MBA or Specialized Master's Degree in Textiles from a recognized institution, preferably ranked among the Top 100 institutions under NIRF.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in the textile sector.
Experience & Expertise:
The ideal candidate should possess demonstrated experience in:
- Textile, apparel, and garment manufacturing industries.
- Global and domestic textile market standards and best practices.
- Planning, development, and operationalization of industrial parks, with specific exposure to textile parks.
- Emerging technologies, innovation, and sectoral advancements in the textile ecosystem.
- Export promotion and export-oriented sector projects, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Working with Central and State Government departments/agencies for a minimum of 3 years.
- Managing complex stakeholder relationships across government bodies, industry associations, private sector entities, and other ecosystem participants.
