IBDP Psychology Teacher (IB exp must)

Location: 10X International School, Mysuru

Role: Teach IB MYP/Psychology-related content and IBDP Psychology, and provide behaviour counselling and socio-emotional support to secondary students in line with 10X’s innovation and well-being focus.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging MYP Humanities/Psychology-related units and IBDP Psychology (SL/HL) aligned to IB curricula.
• Guide students through MYP assessments, DP IA, essays, and exam preparation.
• Provide individual and group behaviour counselling, supporting students with emotional regulation, study habits, and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and parents to design and implement behaviour support plans and well-being initiatives.
• Maintain confidential records, track student progress, and contribute to school-wide SEL and positive-behaviour programmes.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s in Psychology; teaching qualification and/or counselling certification.
• 2+ years’ experience in secondary teaching; IB DP Psychology and/or MYP experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in school counselling, behaviour management, or student well-being roles.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and assessment skills; sensitivity to adolescent mental health and safeguarding.
