Head of Technology and Product

We're looking for someone to own Technology and Product at Swift Checkin , the flagship product of Dibasys.

This is a significant equity-involved role.

Swift Checkin is the AI-native workforce and financial operating system for construction trade contractors in Australia.

— starting with labour cost intelligence for plumbing, HVAC, and commercial painting businesses across Australia. This isn't early-stage guesswork. It's live on real job sites today: 60,000+ geo-fenced crew hours tracked, $500K+ in subcontractor invoices verified, $6M+ in project costs tracked—and customers are telling us it's already exceeding what they expected.

Now I need a 'Head of Technology and Product' to join the founding team and take single-point ownership of both technology and product. One person, one accountable owner.

You'll

• Lead the product engineering team and directly run our India (Kochi) office.

• Set best practices for development, security, and reliability, and establish metrics to measure product performance and operational efficiency

• Own the product roadmap end to end

• Turn customer signal into shipped features, fast

• Build AI-native, not AI bolted onto a legacy stack

• Take this from strong Australian traction and global_ into the US, Canada, UK, Europe.

Who I'm looking for:

-Someone with a real track record leading technical teams and scaling one through genuine growth who wants founder-level ownership from day one, not a seat at the table later.

-Vertical SaaS experience taking a product internationally is a big plus.

-AI/ML experience is a MUST.

-Working in startups at an early stage as a co-founder or founding team member is preferable.

-Construction tech knowledge—huge plus, ideally mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Information Technology, including SME software development and systems design.

• Proven experience in IT Management and IT Operations, leading cross-functional technical teams and overseeing day-to-day technology delivery.

• Ability to define and implement IT Strategy that supports product vision, scalability, security, and long-term business growth.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure planning and management, including cloud platforms, networking, and system reliability.

• Background in product management and technical product leadership, with experience building B2B or enterprise SaaS solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-informed decisions and balance speed with quality.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working remotely with distributed teams and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in construction-tech, workforce management, is beneficial.
