3D Industrial Designer

We are looking for an experienced 3D Industrial Designer / Mechanical CAD Designer with strong expertise in consumer product design, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing-ready CAD modeling. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and PTC Creo , along with a solid understanding of mechanical components, product functionality, and mold design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop consumer products from concept to production-ready CAD models.
• Create accurate 3D models, mechanical assemblies, and detailed 2D engineering drawings.
• Develop mechanical components, moving mechanisms, enclosures, and functional product designs.
• Design products suitable for injection molding and other manufacturing processes.
• Understand mold design fundamentals, draft angles, wall thickness, parting lines, undercuts, and shrinkage.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to optimize products for mass production.
• Prepare CAD files for prototyping, CNC machining, 3D printing, and injection molding.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and manufacturers to refine designs and resolve technical issues.

Job Description

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, and PTC Creo .
• Strong knowledge of consumer product design and mechanical engineering principles .
• Practical experience with plastic product design, injection molding, and mold-related design considerations.
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to convert concepts into functional, manufacturable products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A portfolio demonstrating previous consumer product and mechanical design projects is mandatory.

Important: Candidates with experience in real-world product development, mechanical mechanisms, and injection-molded consumer products will be preferred.
