HireIQ is partnering with a well-established engineering and environmental consulting firm to hire a Senior Project Accountant for its New York finance team.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant who wants full ownership of projects from setup through closeout, while partnering closely with Project Managers across a large, established A/E business.

The Role
You will manage the financial lifecycle of a portfolio of projects, including:
Project setup and budgetsRevenue recognition and WIP managementProject billing and invoicingForecasting and project financial reportingMonitoring profitability, overruns and unbilled balancesAccounts receivable and collectionsSubconsultant costs and project closeoutWorking directly with Project Managers to resolve financial issues
What They Need xzbcwsv
5+ years of project accounting experienceExperience within engineering, architecture or another project-based environmentStrong understanding of WIP, revenue recognition and project billingStrong Excel skillsDeltek, Vision, Vantagepoint or Unanet experience strongly preferred
