Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Media Relations, the full-time Associate Director of Media Relations will execute a global media relations strategy to enhance the company's reputation through proactive engagement across various media channels while managing timelines and resources effectively. Key responsibilities Execute a global media strategy to advance corporate positioning and enhance reputation through media engagement Drive news flow by managing the sequence and strategy of announcements and developing unique storylines Build and maintain relationships with top-tier media while preparing media materials and briefing spokespeople for engagements Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field Minimum of seven years of media relations experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry Existing relationships with top business, consumer, and financial media Strong writing and storytelling capabilities with the ability to translate complex issues into clear messaging Experience in issues management and the ability to counsel senior leaders effectively
