Business Development Manager – Education

AP Guru is a leading online tutoring company working with students across the world for SAT, ACT, AP, IB, IGCSE, A-Level and other international programmes.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to handle our inbound student enquiries and convert them into enrolments.

Responsibilities

* Conduct Zoom calls with new student and parent enquiries

* Understand students’ academic needs, goals and timelines

* Explain AP Guru’s programmes, tutoring model and packages

* Become a subject matter expert on AP Guru’s products and processes

* Recommend the right programme and tutoring hours

* Follow up with prospective students and parents

* Handle questions and objections and close enrolments

* Coordinate with our academic team for demo classes and tutor allocation

* Maintain lead records and ensure timely follow-ups

Requirements

* 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, admissions or education counselling

* Excellent spoken and written English

* Strong communication, presentation and closing skills

* Confident speaking with parents and students over Zoom

* Strong follow-up and organisational skills

* Education/tutoring sales experience is a plus

Work Details

* Location: Mumbai – hybrid, work from office 2 days/week

* Remote Working hours: 6–9 AM and 5–10 PM

* Weekend work required

* Weekly off: One weekday
