About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations, maximizing productivity, maintaining quality standards, optimizing costs, and driving continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet delivery commitments.

* Ensure optimum utilization of machines, equipment, and manufacturing resources.

* Manage manpower planning, shift allocation, and workforce productivity.

* Supervise and guide shift supervisors and production teams to achieve operational targets.

* Coordinate with the procurement and stores teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

* Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) team to maintain product quality and ensure adherence to quality standards.

* Monitor production efficiency, reduce wastage, and improve overall process performance.

* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, SOPs, and company policies.

* Coordinate with the maintenance and technical teams to resolve machine breakdowns and process-related issues with minimal downtime.

* Oversee packing operations to ensure products are dispatched as per quality and customer requirements.

* Prepare and review daily production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.

* Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality.

* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve manufacturing processes.

* Successfully implement new process trials, production methods, and operational improvements.

* Take complete ownership of plant productivity, operational compliance, and smooth day-to-day manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering.

* Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment.

* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.

* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, or similar manufacturing practices is an added advantage.
