An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced Technical Writers to join a high-profile international technology business. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating complex processes into clear, user-friendly content and is excited to leverage AI-assisted authoring tools as part of their workflow.
About the Role
As a Technical Writer, you will partner with program managers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop high-quality documentation, including SOPs, policies, process guides, and help center articles. You will be responsible for ensuring content is accurate, consistent, accessible, and aligned with established style and localization standards.
Responsibilities
Author new SOPs, policies, process documentation, and help articles using inputs such as business requirements, policy documents, SME feedback, and design mockups.
Edit and improve existing content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and usability.
Adapt content for different audiences, ensuring appropriate tone, readability, and structure.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate technical accuracy and drive content reviews to completion.
Review and refine AI-generated drafts, applying editorial judgment and ensuring content quality.
Identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure documentation adheres to style guides, localization best practices, and accessibility standards.
Contribute to content governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in technical writing, content authoring, documentation, or editorial roles.
Strong ability to simplify complex concepts and processes into clear, actionable instructions.
Experience creating content from source materials such as requirements documents, policy briefs, process documentation, or design specifications.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to write effectively for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working within established style guides and documentation standards.
Interest in leveraging AI-powered writing and editing tools to improve content development processes.
