Rheumatology Consultant

They have a global reputation for research, development and innovative partnerships with primary care.The post is full time covering 10 PA's (40 hours) including on call commitment if appropriate. A request to move from full-time to part-time will be considered in accordance with the Trusts Flexible Working Procedure.Qualifications and RequirementsFULL GMC registrationWide knowledge, experience and high level of competence in general clinic rheumatologyInterest and experience in musculoskeletal ultrasoundAn appropriate higher surgical/medical qualificationExperience and competence in preforming a wide range of rheumatological proceduresExperience of coping with the demands of a DGH based consultant (i.e. Locum Consultant experience)Interest and experience in the management of osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseasesFor candidates who reside abroad you must have completed the necessary language test (IELTS / OET / NARIC) before applying. You must be able to satisfy the language test requirements of the UKVI remit.Additional InformationThe successful candidate will join a team of 5 Consultants together with a team of Rheumatology Specialist Practitioners.
