Property Accountant

Please note that this role will be 100% onsite in Denver, CO for the first 90 days at least. After your initial training, you will be allowed to work 2 days per week from home.
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Property Accountant job in Denver, CO. To qualify, you must have at least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. You must also have previous experience with Yardi software.
This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $70,000 and $95,000 annually. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below) and a performance-based bonus.
Responsibilities:-Managing full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties-Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable-Running monthly financial reports-Maintaining balance sheets-Researching and resolving transaction discrepancies-Preparing and entering journal entries-Reconciling accounts-Preparing for audits-All other related tasks as required
Qualifications:-At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role-Previous experience with Yardi required-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred-Previous experience in a multi-entity company preferred-Excellent attention to detail-Excellent analytical skills-Excellent organizational skills
Compensation:-Annual base salary between $70,000 and $95,000-Eligibility for performance-based bonus-2 weeks of paid time off to start-401(k) program with 4% company match-Medical, dental and vision insurance (90% covered by company)
