Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Career Counsellor role based in bhikaji cama place new delhi. The Career Counsellor will meet with prospective students and professionals to understand their academic background, interests, and career goals, and recommend suitable study abroad and career pathways. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, administering basic assessments, and providing guidance on course selection, institutions, and destination countries. The role involves explaining admission and visa processes, assisting with documentation checklists, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely application submissions. The Career Counsellor will also conduct information sessions, maintain accurate counseling records in the CRM system, follow up with leads, and contribute to outreach activities and events to support enrollment targets.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Career Counseling, Student Counseling, and guiding individuals on academic and professional pathways. Experience in Career Development and Career Management, including planning long-term growth and transitions. Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly and empathetically. Prior experience in study abroad, international education, or visa advisory services is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field; relevant certifications in counseling are a plus. Ability to build rapport with diverse clients, handle sensitive information responsibly, and work in a target-driven environment. Proficiency with basic office software and CRM tools, along with strong organizational and time-management abilities.Details
