Job Description:

Job responsibilities:

  • Supervise Production Clerks; assign, direct, coach, and evaluate performance.

  • Coordinate clerical tasks, packaging support, and general floor operations.

  • Support rootcause analysis and resolution of production problems.

  • Manage inventory levels and order packaging materials.

  • Interface with vendors.

  • Construct, update, and maintain kit books for plant personnel.

  • Support Government Contract operations and compliance.

  • Recommend workflow, procedural, and operational improvements.

  • Determine hardware resource requirements and allocate personnel.

  • Participate in daily operations meetings and provide crossfunctional support.

  • Provide backup support to Industrial Engineering and Packaging Engineering.

Key performance measures:

  • Supervises Production Clerks and oversees daily administrative and operational support functions.

  • Influences workflow efficiency, documentation quality, and material planning across multiple operational areas.

  • Collaborates with plant management, engineering, vendors, and contract partners; represents support functions in daily operations meetings.

  • Responsible for resource allocation, performance management, and ensuring continuity of support for plant operations.

  • Decisions directly affect production flow, staffing coverage, contractor support, documentation accuracy, and compliance.

Qualifications:

Required :

  • 3 to 5 years of direct work-related experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

  • Supervisory or leadership experience.

  • Experience in operations, manufacturing, or logistics.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred:

Experience coordinating with vendors or contractors.
Previous involvement with government contract work.
Familiarity with process improvement or workflow optimization.

Experience:

Required :

Operational or manufacturing support experience.
Experience supervising or coordinating teams.
Experience with process analysis and documentation workflows.
