Role Overview

Our Client needs an aggressive, results-driven CFO with hands-on startup experience to take 100% ownership of our financial ecosystem, corporate governance, and commercial strategy to maximize enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Governance & Controllership

• Institutional Accounting: Own all accounting machinery, internal controls, risk management, and audit trails.
• Rapid Book Closure: Ensure precise bookkeeping with automated monthly and annual closures finalized by Day 3.
• Airtight Compliance: Maintain zero-compromise oversight over all direct/indirect taxation and financial compliance frameworks.

2. Commercial Strategy & Business Accountability

• Target Enforcement: Act as profitability gatekeeper, following up aggressively with business heads to hit revenue targets.
• Margin Protection: Proactively plug cost leakages or pricing inefficiencies to immediately optimize unit economics.
• Strategic Forecasting: Deliver high-density financial modeling and accurate forecasting to guide executive growth decisions.

3. Day-to-Day Financial Operations

• Treasury & Cash Velocity: Maximize cash velocity and optimize working capital metrics by aggressively reducing DSO.
• Runway Optimization: Run tight daily oversight on cash flows to guarantee a rock-solid, highly efficient runway.
• Process Automation: Overhaul manual bottlenecks by establishing automated workflows and airtight approval matrices company-wide.

Required Candidate Profile

• Senior Leadership: 15+ years in corporate finance, with 5+ years operating as a core CFO or VP.
• Startup DNA: Direct, hands-on experience navigating a fast-scaling startup and building structure out of chaos.
• Aggressive Mindset: Proactive, high-energy leader who challenges data and relentlessly pushes teams for results.
• Tech-Fluent: Deep understanding of modern ERP architectures, automated accounting workflows, and BI reporting dashboards.
• Executive Presence: Sharp, direct communicator who effortlessly commands respect from business verticals and the board.
