An excellent opportunity for a Banking & Finance Associate to join a highly regarded national law firm in Charlotte.The team advises lenders, borrowers and financial institutions across a broad range of sophisticated financing transactions, including commercial lending, leveraged finance, fund finance and structured finance.
The RoleAdvising lenders and borrowers on a range of banking and finance transactionsSupporting commercial lending, acquisition finance and leveraged finance mattersDrafting, reviewing and negotiating loan agreements, credit agreements and related financing documentationAssisting with secured and unsecured lending transactionsConducting due diligence and supporting transaction structuring and executionCoordinating with clients, opposing counsel and other advisers throughout the transaction processTaking responsibility for discrete workstreams and managing multiple transactions simultaneouslyCollaborating with colleagues across the firm's wider corporate and finance practices
Candidate Profile2+ years' experience in banking, finance or related transactional practicesExperience with commercial lending, credit facilities or other debt financing transactionsExperience representing lenders and/or borrowers preferredExperience in banking and finance, commercial lending, leveraged finance, fund finance, structured finance or related debt financing transactions will be considered. xzbcwsv Strong drafting, negotiation and transactional skillsExperience at a leading national or international firm preferred, although strong candidates from regional or mid-sized practices will also be consideredComfortable managing competing deadlines and taking ownership of mattersCommercially minded, organised and able to work effectively within a teamStrong academic and professional credentialsNorth Carolina Bar admission preferred
