Department: 10010 Navicent Health Medical Center - Administration Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Typically Monday-Friday days with flexibility for business needs Pay Range: $230.60 - $368.95 Major Responsibilities: Provides overall leadership and accountability for operational performance, clinical quality and safety, patient experience, financial stewardship, and workforce engagement for the medical center(s). Translates enterprise, division, and area strategies into executable local plans, ensuring alignment of resources, priorities, and outcomes. Drives local growth, access, and service line strategy, including ambulatory expansion, site-of-care optimization, and responsiveness to market dynamics. Partners closely with physician and clinical leadership to optimize care delivery models, strengthen alignment, and achieve quality, safety, and experience goals. Leads operational and care delivery transformation efforts, including performance improvement initiatives, adoption of new care models, and implementation of digitally enabled workflows aligned with enterprise strategy. Maintains shared accountability for workforce strategy, including leadership reliability, labor sustainability, culture, and engagement, in partnership with enterprise functions. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risk. Acts as the primary local integrator across enterprise services, medical staff, and enterprise leadership to ensure aligned decisionmaking and effective execution. Serves as the organization's senior representative within the community, with boards, and with external partners, advancing trust, reputation, and community impact. Minimum Job Requirements Education Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, nursing, or related field. Certification / Registration / License No certification is required. Work Experience Typically requires ten (10) or more years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, including senior operational or executive roles within an acute care hospital, medical center, or integrated health system. Experience should demonstrate accountability for operational performance, financial stewardship, quality and safety outcomes, and physician partnership. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Demonstrated ability to lead complex healthcare operations in an integrated delivery system. Strong financial and operational acumen, including experience managing budgets, capital planning, and performance improvement initiatives. Proven capability to partner effectively with physicians and clinical leaders. Strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into executable plans. Strong leadership presence, judgment, and communication skills. Preferred Job Requirements Education Advanced graduate coursework or executive education in healthcare leadership, strategy, finance, or organizational management. Certification / Registration / License Professional certification such as Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) is preferred or demonstrated progress toward attainment. Experience Experience leading within a complex, matrixed healthcare organization, including exposure to system-level initiatives, growth strategies, or transformation efforts. Acting as the integrator between clinical, operational, financial, and people strategies, the President partners closely with physician leaders and enterprise functions to drive performance, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance. Reporting to the President of the Georgia Area and the Atrium Health Navicent Board of Directors, the President will fulfill governing responsibilities as it relates to several joint-ventures with physician groups. Additionally, the President will have matrixed responsibility for the relationship with Navicent Medical Group, and our clinically-integrated network, the CGHN (Central Georgia Health Network), which represents over 1,000 independent physicians and advanced practice professionals across Central Georgia. As the face of the organization locally, the President builds trusted relationships with boards, community leaders, and external stakeholders while fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the organization.
